Bid Pool
Vendors request access and submit an Expression of Interest. Clients shortlist 3 vendors to make a full bid.
How bidding works on tandm
- Request access. Vendors request access to a tender, and the client approves who can take part.
- Submit an EOI. Approved vendors see the client's brief and submit an Expression of Interest.
- Shortlist of 3. The client shortlists a maximum of three vendors. Only they get access to the full confidential materials.
- Full bid. Shortlisted vendors submit a complete bid, and the client awards the project.
Why we do it this way
This follows the two-stage tender used in construction and public procurement, with one addition: nobody sees a client's confidential materials without first being shortlisted.
For vendors, the costly work of a full bid only happens once a client has shown genuine interest, with odds of one in three. For clients, that means three serious, fully developed bids instead of a pile of rushed ones.
